Sarah’s investigation into different combinations of liquid materials began in 2004. She initially worked within the confines of small glass vessels, which increased in size over time. This led to producing a large installation, the documentation of which introduced her to the idea of producing alternative landscapes using the same method and materials.
“Although working with easily obtainable materials I aim to extend the range of possibilities of their use beyond the expected. This leads to producing unrecognisable visuals that leaves the viewer in a state of perplexity as to what they are seeing. A question which often follows a viewing of my work is ‘what is it?’”
